Terms of Service
Dexfast (“we”, “our”, “us”) is built and run by Khoa Le, an independent software engineer and card collector in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. By downloading, creating an account, subscribing to, or using Dexfast, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Dexfast lets you:
- scan a card with your camera and identify it;
- build a collection of the cards you own;
- record condition, grade, and what you paid;
- get an AI estimate of a card’s condition;
- search cards across several games and languages;
- follow estimated market values and set completion.
Some features are free and some require the paid tier. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Dexfast, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Dexfast only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
3. Your account
The current welcome screen offers Apple and Google sign-in, without asking you to enter an email address or create a Dexfast password.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials and devices secure, and for everything done through your Dexfast account. Tell us at support@dexfast.app if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account.
4. Licence to use Dexfast
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Dexfast on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the app. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Dexfast.
5. App Store terms
You obtain Dexfast for iOS through Apple. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, your only remedy from Apple is a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
6. Subscriptions
The paid tier is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store subscription settings — deleting your Dexfast account does not cancel Apple billing. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. RevenueCat relays your subscription status to us so the app knows what you are entitled to. Prices and what each tier includes may change; a change takes effect at your next renewal.
7. Card scanning
Scanning identifies cards automatically and can be wrong: it may miss a printing, confuse similar art, or fail on a damaged or poorly-lit card. Check the result before you rely on it. The card is read on your phone, and the photo you scan never leaves your device.
8. AI features and grading
The AI condition estimate is an opinion produced by software from the photos you upload. Dexfast is not an official grading service. Our estimates are not grades from PSA, BGS, CGC, or any other grading company, they carry no authority with those companies or with buyers, and they may differ from what a professional grader would say. Do not use them as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, or valuing a card.
9. Market prices
Prices in Dexfast come from third-party market data and are estimates, not offers. They may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, they vary by condition, printing, and marketplace, and currency conversions use a rate captured at a point in time. Nothing in Dexfast is financial or investment advice. Dexfast is not a marketplace and does not buy, sell, or broker cards.
10. Your content
The photos you upload, your avatar, and your collection data stay yours. You grant us a licence to host, store, process, display back to you, and back up that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Dexfast for anything illegal;
- circumvent free-tier limits, entitlement checks, or rate limits;
- scrape the app or its API, or use bots or automated clients against it;
- upload malware, or probe, overload, or interfere with the Service;
- impersonate someone else;
- upload content that infringes someone else’s rights.
12. Third-party services
Dexfast depends on services we do not control — Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and our card data, AI, email, push notification, and analytics providers. Their terms apply to their part of the service, and an outage or change on their side can affect Dexfast.
Some links to marketplaces, such as eBay, are affiliate links. If you buy after tapping one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Dexfast is a participant in the eBay Partner Network.
13. Intellectual property
Dexfast — the app, its name, logo, design, and code — belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Gundam, and Riftbound are trademarks of their respective owners. Dexfast is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
14. Feedback
If you send us an idea or suggestion, we may use it without obligation or payment to you. Do not send us anything you consider confidential.
15. Availability and updates
Dexfast is provided as-is and as-available. We may update, change, or interrupt it for maintenance, and we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of defects. Some updates may be required for the app to keep working.
16. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your account and the app data tied to it, immediately and permanently, as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not cancel an Apple subscription and does not entitle you to a refund of an unused period.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service or its limits, or use Dexfast in a way that harms other users or us, or where the law requires it. You may stop using Dexfast at any time.
18. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dexfast is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In particular we do not warrant that card identification will be accurate, that AI condition estimates will match any grader’s opinion, that prices will be accurate or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
19. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute services, nor for any decision you make to buy, sell, insure, or value a card based on information in Dexfast.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Dexfast in the 12 months before the claim arose, and in no case more than 100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; where that is so, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
20. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising out of your use of Dexfast, the content you upload, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.
21. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. Using Dexfast means you accept it.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date above changes with them, and if a change materially affects you we will say so in the app. Continuing to use Dexfast after a change means you accept the new Terms.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and any dispute will be heard by the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory rights or the courts available to you under the law of the country where you live.
24. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is applied to the extent it can be.
25. No waiver
If we do not enforce a provision straight away, we have not waived it.
